Someone once said, “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
This is solid advice for every one of us to keep in mind at some point in our lives.
Simply put, make the best out of a situation; see how it can be turned around and most importantly, learn from it.
Life will constantly throw difficult challenges your way that would make you fall hard to the ground, but you should always get back up, dust yourself off, and keep moving forward with a smile on your face.
Know that these challenges are a test of your endurance, of how much you can bear and if you truly deserve what you wish for. You just have one shot at your life, whether it glows brighter than the sun or it goes completely down the drain is entirely up to you.
So, instead of being negative and throwing a fit, make the most of your situation.
Hello, when I read your post on autism and the “take a seat” cartoon, I was reminded of this.
Many years ago, I was teaching a group of Chinese adults, mostly well educated, successful business people.
As part of each mornings warm up, I would scrawl a proverb and ask them to discuss, explain and relate it to something similar in their culture.
Mostly they could.
Until: “If life gives you lemons etc.”
I don’t remember details now but I recall there were some very creative interpretations. None anywhere near the mark though.
Oft, thinks that seem crystal to us are totally baffling to another culture!
As our world shrinks, and the standing order changes, tolerance and patience are two of the most valuable traits any person can own .
Things may not be quite as YOU understand them either.

I love this! Making lemons into lemonade is the best victory you can ever have! It’s like coming back and giving adversity a slap in the face and laughing at it because it may have knocked you down but couldn’t keep you there. ❤

Someone else has said, “When life gives you lemons, throw them back and demand chocolate.” It’s all how you look at things. J.
