Walk and Talk therapy is what it says on the tin. Instead of sitting in front of a therapist in a traditional therapy room, our session takes place outdoors, walking together in a natural environment; it is therapy in motion and more dynamic and positive for your overall wellbeing. If you have felt a sameness or being stuck with a therapy in the past, then a change in environment might be what you need. Walking outside amongst nature, preferrably where it is peaceful, we can explore areas of your life that are causing concern for you and plan ahead to help you change your life for the better.
Using a variety of Psychological and Counselling strategies, basically, my aim is to form a comfortable and trusting relationship that we can depend upon, in order to talk through possible outcomes that will help move life forward. It may be that you wish Counselling or you may want something less formal, and you need to offload your worries. Everything we talk about remains confidential, and no notes are kept on our talks.
