Walk and Talk therapy is what it says on the tin. Instead of sitting in front of a therapist in a traditional therapy room, our session takes place outdoors, walking together in a natural environment; it is therapy in motion and more dynamic and positive for your overall wellbeing. If you have felt a sameness or being stuck with a therapy in the past, then a change in environment might be what you need. Walking outside amongst the natural environment, preferrably where it is peaceful, we can explore areas of life that are causing concern for you.
Using a variety of Psychological and Counselling strategies, basically, my aim is to form a comfortable and trusting relationship that we can depend upon, in order to talk through possible outcomes that will help move life forward.
Walk and Talk therapies can also be integrated into my Walks in Nature sessions – the choice is yours.
